Sunday 30th August.
Another early start for a 5 hour walk in the hills around Serpentine Falls, Kitty’s Gorges and Stacey’s loop.
It had been raining overnight and in the early morning so the ground was slippery underfoot. Also the waters were cascading down the rocks.
Now I have to re-think my packing and make a list of last minute things to pick up.
As I get closer to the departure more people are asking why I am doing this.
To me it’s simple we have to raise awareness of the training and services that Mates In Construction can provide on site.
I will keep people up to speed with events as they unfold.
My thoughts and best wishes are with you big brother. Keep safe, love David
