2022 Cruise part 4 after 2 days at Sea we were in Dubrovnik on day 6.

We were meant to have had 1 day at sea and visit Malta then another day at sea, but there was a berthing hiccup and we were diverted to Dubrovnik. We did not mind as we have always wanted to go back there in 1975. But for some on the cruise Malta was why they had chosen this cruise.

Walking around the wall brought back many great memories.
The last time we were in Dubrovnik we stayed for 2 weeks and spent a day on Lokrum Island, seen here behind us.
It was a hot day so we stopped for a drink halfway around the City Wall.
Dubrovnik was were they shot the scenes for Kings Landing in the Game of Thrones.
Some scenes from the Game of Thrones were filmed around the outside of the wall.
Not exactly the same spot but very close to we’re Linda had a photo taken 47 years earlier.
Walking down one of the quiet side streets. The cobblestone are not wet they are just polished by street walkers.
