2016 Rocky Mountaineer Train and Coach your.

As an overall opinion we both really loved the Rocky Mountaineer trip. The service on the train and the efficient handling of stopovers were great. But for most spectacular scenery I think the coach views were much better.

The comfort, food and services on the train part of the tour was excellent.
I am pretty sure this was our first stop at Kamloops.
The second half of the tour was by coach. Again the service was excellent. I have to admit the coach was far better for the sight seeing component of the tour.

2015 in Canberra and Sydney with Linda, James and Jorja.

We had heard that the schools planned trip to Canberra was canceled so we decided to take them there during the October school holidays and return to Perth via Sydney.

In Canberra we visited and had tours around the old parliament and the new parliament then we spent a full day at the war memorial. In Sydney the usual tourist visits around the Rocks, Darling harbour, Manly and of course the Hard Rock Cafe.

The Rocks was saved by the local community and the BLF Unions Green Bans. Although the Union came under massive pressure they saved this iconic part of Sydney. There should be a statue to Jack Mundy for leading the fight to save the Rocks.
