Again an early start. Just left home when the rain started.
This walk was harder. Upping the time from 3 to 4 hours seemed to flow quite easily but 4 to 5 started to take its toll. So we and by that I mean me and Rebus walked 34,003 steps, 191 floors (according to Fitbit) 24.01kms. And yes we were tiered.
I am thinking about buying hicking poles now that we have upped the anti.
I am thinking that future posts should have more about MIC and some more history of Kokoda.
Hi Les
I think this is a very brave task you are taking on I wish you all the best of luck.
I do know you will do this as once your mind is set on doing something by hook or by crook it will be done.
I will be following you.
Oh and Rebus is a good boy going the extra miles with you.
Love you Les

Hi Margo good to hear from you. I am doing an update each week. I train 6 days out of seven days, looking forward to a lesser routine , but still training after the Track.
I usually do an hour and a half at night walking or stairs. About 40 minutes light weight training session. I don’t train on Saturday and then do a long walk Sunday. Rebus usually will do the walking training but I don’t take him when I am doing the stairs.
Hope everything is going well at your end.
Are you starting or finishing school holidays there?
Have to go as I am just about to go into a meeting.
Bye
Les
